Disney Plans Virtual ‘Concession Stand,’ ‘Storefronts’ for Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Streamers

Disney is adding interactive shopping to Hulu and Disney+ by launching virtual storefronts through a partnership with Shopsense AI. Viewers can buy products or snacks related to the shows they’re watching via clickable ads, without pausing their stream. The effort, which includes a Gopuff-powered “concession stand,” aims to make streaming ads more personalized and shoppable—turning content into commerce.
